With so many companies in New Zealand run by incompetent idoits/gift of the gab/politics gits at the helm that is the major reason why new zealands workforce productivity is so low compared to oz, this website is a true blessing And may it continue to expose these insane few that some how get to the top.

The comments about Beth Vest are sad but true. The manager is not much better. If you're not a pet then watch your back.

Great site. However, if making defamatory remarks about a person you have worked for or are currently working for, is anonimity guaranteed? I've worked for some demons in my time. In saying that, am too afraid that they will track me down and smother me in my sleep if I dare make any comment about their sadistic and bullying ways.

Hi Seems a lot of people are uncomfortable about this site. After being the subject of work place bullying for a number of years, I see this site as a means of redress. Some people are treated little better than animals at work: used, abused and discarded through some management justified plan to be more efficient and effective, usually at the expense of your paypacket and a substantial increase in there's. You just have to look at the xtra site and the article on executive pay packets to see what I mean. All that most people ask at work is to be treated like a human-being. I have come across few really lazy people in all my time as an employee. Keep up the good work!!!

I just heard about this on the Stuff News site so i thought i would have a look. If you are dumb enough to put finger to keyboard and right something about an old or current boss on here then you are crazy ( did you think it wasnt trackable ). It is like being in a School yard again for sure. Everything is trackable. Are you so stupid that you didnt know that. Some of them may be fun to read, but seriously do you have to be so childish to have to write such crap.

Definition of Irony - The fact that it is difficult to criticise a boss without developing the language skills / political skills to determine their faults and present them accordingly, the ironic fact being that when you have built up that skill set, you are now "one of them"! Having said that, my boss contradicting my technical opinion in front of my team and behind my back, then flip-flopping when I got my former boss on the phone to explain that I was right, does not help. The expression of contempt for him on my team's faces was priceless.

Interesting article in todays Sunday Star Times. As is common with the newsmedia, they only concentrated on the negative comments on this site rather than the many great comments about some bosses. It is interesting to see the average score is as might be expected close to 2.5.

I see some potentially slanderous comments being written, I see some people getting into hot water at work if these comments have been written using work computers!!! They can track you down - suffer the consequences - you are not always anonymous - Big Brother is watching.....

Are these two the same person? http://rateyourbossnz.com/article.php?n=21&page=1 http://rateyourbossnz.com/article.php?n=22&page=1 Also why aren't they listed when choosing the company? http://rateyourbossnz.com/articles.php?n=100&page=1&sort=&direction= shows only 1 boss at telecom who isn't the person above

Yes, why do you not have any contact details for the people who run this site? What are you afraid of? And how can anyone contact you if something completely untrue and libellous is posted here?

I am surprised and disappointed there is no moderation of this site . Loonies so far are ruling the ratings. The comments about ACC and Ruth Dyson in particular are an example of where this site is no better than a schoolyard.
